Amitabh Arun is a seasoned professional with 19.79 years of relevant experience in data engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud technology. He is currently working as a Principle (Data Engineering | DevOps) at GSK, where he is responsible for data architecture, big data, Spark, Databricks, DataOps, and Azure Cloud. Amitabh's expertise lies in various data-related technologies, including data pipeline (Azure Data Factory), DataBricks (Azure DataBricks, Pyspark), data warehouse (Azure Synapse), NoSQL DB (Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL), big data/open-source frameworks (Apache Spark), data streaming (Apache Kafka, Azure EventHub, EventGrid), data governance (Data Catalogue, Azure Purview), visualization (Databricks SQL Analytics, PowerBI), and SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, Azure SQL). He is also proficient in Python programming and has experience working with Oracle DB and SQL-Server DB. In addition to data engineering, Amitabh has extensive experience in DevSecOps, DataOps, and MLOps.
