Amitabh Tiwari is a highly experienced Lead Architect with a strong background in JAVA/J2EE development and enterprise software systems. With over 12 years of experience in design and development of Java, J2EE and related technologies, Amitabh has worked on scaling products and taking up challenging work that helps him become a better developer. Currently working at Maersk as Lead Architect, Amitabh's team is responsible for product conceptualization, incubation and building with scale. He has also worked as an Architect at Maersk, where he was responsible for designing and developing load-planning, optimization and data platform, re-designing old existing non-performing application pieces, creating features and stories, and building performance. Amitabh was also responsible for mentoring juniors and bringing them up to speed, and reviewing and highlighting code issues. Prior to his current role, Amitabh was the Lead RnD at Lenskart, where he was responsible for end-to-end server-side API development, requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment, as well as resource management and sprint planning. He was also responsible for scaling the application by converting the Monolith application to microservices architecture, internal cross-team and third-party communication for clarifications, inculcating best practices in the team, performance monitoring for server API and DB queries using New Relic, analyzing production logs for production bugs and other blockers for scalability, mentoring, and reviewing code of team members to help in solving technical challenges. Amitabh has a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Silchar, and has completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He possesses a wide range of technical skills, including Senior Software Engineering, Java, New Relic, test, and Microservices. With 15.70 years of relevant experience, Amitabh is a highly skilled and accomplished Lead Architect, Technical Author, and Mentor, who is passionate about taking up challenging work and continuously improving his skills.
