Amith P is a Software Engineer at Microsoft with a passion for People, Technology, and Markets. With a dual degree in Computer Science and Economics, he has been following his orientation reflex to explore, learn, and grow. Amith is enthusiastic about enabling the extraction of every bit of insight from the data we have at any point in time and creating intelligent systems that improve business delivery. Aside from his work in technology, Amith is fascinated by human interaction with technology and markets. He is currently invested in learning Consumer Psychology and Behavioral Design to understand how to build intelligent technology that can help improve user well-being, keeping the consumer mindset at the locus. Amith has expertise in Python, Tensorflow, Open CV, Azure, Spark, Scala, .NET, React-Redux, and C#. He has domain knowledge in Machine Perception, Deep Learning, Cloud Technologies & Services, Big-Data Modeling, Data Warehousing and Distribution, Insights Generation for Business Delivery, Enterprise Software, and Agile Development. Amith's past experiences include working as a Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute, where he developed a method for learning a multi-modal perception model for object grasping. He also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where he built an open-source framework for a 3D road traffic simulator that can feed realistic data to learning systems. Amith has a relevant experience of 4.20 years and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani K.K Birla Goa Campus, and completed his schooling from National Public School, Rajajinagar, Bangalore. With his expertise in software engineering, research science, deep learning, Spark, Tensorflow, Redux, Azure, Python, Scala, and computer vision, Amith is a valuable asset to any team.
