Amjad Ansari is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience in IT Analysis, Design, Development, and leading teams of developers in Web/Mobile Applications. He has a solid understanding of full mobile and software development life cycle (SDLC), UI, and Agile methodologies. Amjad is an experienced UI Lead and React JS Developer, with hands-on Development. He has extensive knowledge as a UI development of current web standards, JavaScript, ReactJS, Angular, Bootstrap, CSS3, and HTML5. Currently, Amjad is working as a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack at Shell. In his previous role at Shell, he worked as a Software Engineer on the Shell Market Hub, which is Shell’s Primary B2B eCommerce platform. He oversaw the technical architecture, development, and maintenance of core foundational frontend technology across the platform. Amjad built and led an ever-growing team of engineers and identified and ensured the effective application of the latest technologies and approaches to Security and Compliance, web performance, accessibility, and modern toolsets. He established normalized communications to stakeholders and the Global Engineering department about the team’s work, approaches, and how to best utilize newly implemented technologies. He also worked closely with Dev-Ops, Systems, and QA teams to modernize front-end developer tooling and pipelines, including automated code quality checks, peer code review tooling, and compliance best practices, performance, and stability monitoring. Before joining Shell, Amjad worked as a Software Engineer at Razorfish, where he worked as a UI/UX developer. He worked on HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap & foundation framework. His experience with Git/Bitbucket/Github, Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, and his skilled understanding of software requirement specifications and preparing effective Test Cases as per the specifications made him a competent engineer. Amjad has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Northern India Engineering College (NIEC). He also completed his High School education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
