Amjad Haider is a Mechanical Engineer with over two years of practical experience in the automotive industry. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer (Python) at Xitadel CAE Technologies in Bengaluru, India. Amjad possesses essential knowledge of ECUs and CAN network comprising automotive systems. He is proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++, and software such as ANSA. He has experience in version control using SVN and Git. At Xitadel, Amjad is responsible for developing Python source code to improve the CAE Automation Process. He is familiar with ANSA APIs to achieve process automation. Prior to this, he worked as an Internship Trainee at Cochin Shipyard Limited. Here, he coordinated onsite installations based on drawings and confirmed timely execution in Ship Building, Ship Repair, Inspection and Quality Control, Planning and Production Control, Utilities, and Maintenance Departments. He also recorded the activities involved in shipbuilding and ship repair, including hull design. Amjad prepared estimates of materials required based on drawings and followed up material delivery with local vendors. He coordinated with clients for Technical Queries and drawing approvals. Amjad has completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics from Mercedes Benz India Pvt Ltd. Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Science (MS) in Commercial Vehicle Technology from the University of Kaiserslautern, which will be completed in 2023.
