Amlesh Kanekar is a seasoned Data Science professional with over 35 years of experience in the field. He is currently serving as the Director of Academic Programs at Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics (MDAE) and also works as a Consulting Data Scientist at Quantic Technovations Pvt. Ltd. In the past, he has worked as a Visiting Faculty for Data Science and Python Programming at Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics and as a self-employed Data Science Professional, providing training and consulting services in the field. Amlesh's expertise lies in Supervised Machine Learning algorithms, Linear Algebra, Statistics (Descriptive & Inferential), and Python. He has recently accomplished a ‘K Nearest Neighbor’ (KNN) implementation from scratch in Python 2.7 for Retail and Corporate Banking use-cases. Currently, he is working on a methodology for the implementation of KNN in Retail & Corporate Banking prediction-based use-cases. Amlesh's educational background includes an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Ruparel College, IES Dadar, and Makarand English School. His technical skills include Data Science, Research Science, Python, and Machine Learning.
