Ammar Ekbote is an experienced software engineer currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at Lacework. With a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry, Ammar has a strong background in algorithms, enterprise storage systems, file systems, replication, databases, shell scripting, and embedded systems. Ammar holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, where he also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology in 2011. Prior to joining Lacework, Ammar worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Nimble Storage, where he was part of numerous projects across the entire stack of Nimble’s Cache Accelerated Sequential Layout File System. These projects included volume management, cloud integration initiatives, distributed cluster communication, snapshot-based replication, synchronous replication, and automatic switch over. With almost 10 years of relevant experience, Ammar is skilled in software engineering, senior software engineering, and integration. He is a strong engineering professional with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality software solutions.
