Ammar Tambawala is an experienced AVP Strategy (Operations) at noon, with a background in management consulting from Bain & Company. With over 13 years of relevant experience, he has worked across a range of sectors including power & renewables, real estate & infrastructure, oil & gas, and consumer goods. At Bain & Company, Ammar served as a Case Team Leader and was responsible for driving rapid growth in the channel business for a critical power & thermal solutions provider. He also assisted in investment assessment of an alternate battery technology for an Indian conglomerate, where he helped define clear performance milestones for additional fund infusions. Additionally, he worked with an investment promotion agency to identify appropriate policy interventions and develop a comprehensive framework to create a sustainable battery manufacturing & EV ecosystem in India. Prior to Bain, Ammar worked at Strategic Decisions Group, where he helped formulate the exploration plans for the primary oil & gas basin for a SE Asian National Oil Company. He also helped a leading oil company prepare for negotiations with the host authority & midstream stakeholders. Ammar's expertise extends to infrastructure, where he prioritized assets to retain/sell for one of India's largest infrastructure players, developed the consolidated annual plan for the gas power business of another infrastructure player, and identified development opportunities in regional airports. He has also worked in engineering, designing & implementing the rollout of the global strategy for one of the world's largest engineering companies. Ammar holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is skilled in infra and has a deep understanding of core tech and expected cost trajectory. Ammar's ability to identify and implement initiatives to drive rapid growth, streamline & simplify strategic initiatives, and develop short & mid-range business plans has made him a valuable asset to the companies he has worked for.
