Amogh Avadhani is an accomplished Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, with over 7 years of experience in software development. He currently holds the position of Software Developer III, where he is responsible for the in-place database system upgrade for Oracle Cloud VM service. He has previously worked as a Software Developer II at Oracle, where he spearheaded the task of eliminating adding new HOCON config files across all repos, which vastly improved turnaround time for new region builds. He also proposed and implemented a mechanism to add and manage blackout windows for Exadata Cloud service patching. Additionally, he implemented customizable Database Software Images for Bare metal and Virtual machine Db cloud service offerings in DBaaS Control Plane back end. Amogh is a skilled UI developer and has consolidated the UI for Autonomous Datawarehouse and Autonomous Transaction Processing into a single umbrella cloud service - Autonomous Databases (React, Typescript). He has also developed the UI for cross-region enablement of Dataguard feature for VM & BM cloud database services and ported the Autonomous Databases UI component into Exadata Cloud @ Customer service plugin. Apart from his professional achievements, Amogh is a sports enthusiast and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Big Data Sports from Sports Data Campus. He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He completed his schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Hubli. Amogh is well-versed in a variety of technologies, including Java, Python, Typescript, Javascript, Backend, SQL, Cassandra, Spring, Big Data, and Flask.
