Amogh Bhagwat is a Lead Product Engineer at FlytBase, Inc with a passion for autonomous systems and robotics. He is currently working on developing a software framework that enables remote and automated drone/fleet management operations over 4G/5G/LTE connections from anywhere in the world. With a keen interest in the impact of drones and drone automated operations on industries such as security, inspection, and delivery, Amogh is poised to create paradigm-shifting solutions. Amogh's experience in autonomous systems and robotics includes working on the implementation of control algorithms, software solutions for obstacle avoidance, and Deep Learning solutions for Obstacle and Target Detection as part of the International Aerial Robotics Challenge team at Innovation Cell, IIT Bombay. He has also worked on the design of a vehicle capable of movement on land, water, and air as part of the DRDO Druse Challenge. During the summer of 2019, Amogh worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Quantiphi Analytics Pvt. Ltd. where he developed a deep learning-based demographic detection solution and deployed it on an edge device using model optimization with Nvidia TensorRT. He also worked on multiple CNN-based computer-vision algorithms for demographic analysis like Face-detection, Age, Gender, and Ethnicity classification. He combined multiple models into a single Nvidia TensorRT engine, resulting in a 60% reduction in inference time and 30% reduction in RAM usage on the edge device. Amogh is skilled in Python (including Tensorflow and Pytorch) and C++. He is highly interested in new technologies and developments in the field, and his relevant experience spans 3.86 years. With his expertise in software engineering, deep learning, machine learning, and big data, Amogh is an asset to any team looking to develop innovative solutions in autonomous systems and robotics.
