Amogh has deep expertise in sourcing and managing ESG and climate change-related data, as well as the associated challenges with data quality. He excels at visual communication and thinking from a user perspective, which he believes is a significant last-mile hurdle in user adoption in most machine learning solutions today. He holds an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor's in Electronics & Telecom Engineering, and his key strengths include ESG & Climate Change data, alternate data, strategy & planning, people management, business analysis, research, innovation, agile methodology, and visual storytelling. Amogh's technical skills include Python ML, Sklearn models, Xqboost, deep learning, natural language processing (BERT), CNN, cloud technologies such as Azure Databricks, Azure Delta Lake, AWS Athena, SQL, model deployment, visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Streamlit, and POC development/wireframing. Currently working as an ESG Data Scientist with preqin, Amogh focuses on bringing the power of Data Science to unravel ESG metrics, insights, and solutions for the Alternative Assets Industry. He specializes in Natural Language Processing and Geo-spatial intelligence in the ML/DL space and delves into visual analytics and data-based storytelling to make complex topics simpler. In his past roles as a Lead Data Scientist with M&G Plc and Manager - Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics COE with Prudential Global Services Private Limited, Amogh worked with global Data Science teams to apply data science applications over unstructured/alternate data in the ESG space and Asset Management. He specializes in Natural Language Processing and Geo-spatial intelligence in the ML/DL space and more specifically on Climate in the ESG space. Outside of work, Amogh enjoys playing Badminton to stay active and turns to music to unwind. He plays the Guitar and the Indian Flute among musical instruments.
