Amol Date is a seasoned product engineering and delivery professional with over 13 years of cross-domain experience in loyalty and CRM, payments, travel, and lifestyle verticals. He possesses techno-commercial expertise in airline frequent flyer programs, debit/credit card-based loyalty programs, and debit/credit card payment ecosystems. Amol is also a subject matter expert in identity management systems (Auth0), web single sign-on (Open Id Connect, SAML), and multi-factor authentication systems. Amol has extensive integration expertise in online and IVR-based payment gateways backend payment and settlement processing flows. He has experience and exposure in building and managing real-time earn and burn (RTE&B) applications on Ingenico POS and EDC machines with payment acquirers (First Data) and payment aggregators (Pine Labs, Innoviti). With multi-cultural experience in customer engagement and escalation management, Amol has worked with large telecom giants like A&T, Verizon, and Sprint. He has multi-functional experience in product development, business process innovation and optimization, project management, and business analysis. Currently, Amol serves as the Director of Product & CRM Development at intermiles, where he leads a team of senior product managers, product managers, and product leads to drive product development and delivery of loyalty management system, CRM, and 30+ web-based B2C and B2B applications across loyalty, travel, lifestyle, and payments verticals. He also oversees product engineering and delivery of web-based B2B/B2E applications across travel, lifestyle, loyalty, and payments. Prior to his current role, Amol was the Senior Product & CRM Development Manager at intermiles, where he led a 13-member product development team comprising CRM SMEs, business analysts, and executives to drive CRM development and sustenance and standalone application design and development for JetPrivilege Eco-system. He also led cross-functional product development initiatives and managed a multi-vendor environment. Amol holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from USC Viterbi School of Engineering and a B.E. degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai. His tech stack includes product manager, web, parts-of-speech, integration, backend, senior software engineer, ECS, test, and mobile.
