Amol Deshmukh is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. He is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Reliance Payment Solutions Limited and is proficient in several technologies including Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, JPA, SQL, Oracle, Java Play Framework, ebeans, redis, and kafka. He is also well-versed in tools such as eclipse IDE, intellij idea, Git, Gatling, SQL Developer, Jmeter, jstack, and tcpdump. Amol's current project at Jio involves developing and managing a new UPI platform for the company. He has been a part of this project since the beginning and has been responsible for requirement analysis and design. The platform is currently running on production with a user base of 50 lakh customers, and over 40,000 customers are being onboarded every day. Amol manages a team of 5 people to oversee the platform's operations and ensure its scalability and reliability. He has also developed a set of APIs for client applications to consume the platform's functionalities and provide UPI services to users. Amol is currently working on integrating the platform with several client apps such as MyJio, WhatsApp, JioChat, and JioPay, as well as with 2-3 merchant platforms to support merchant payments. Amol has previously worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Symantec, where he worked on OpsCenter, a web-based application that serves as a reporting, monitoring, and alerting tool for Netbackup. He was also responsible for Netbackup product development, defect fixing, automation, Netbackup Java UI development, Netbackup Cloud plugins development, and integration with different cloud technologies like AWS, Glacier, Azure, among others. Amol holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from IIT Roorkee and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from SGGS Nanded, Maharashtra.
