Amol Phatangade is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer and network security industry. With over 6 years of relevant experience, he has hands-on experience in CICD and security products like Splunk, QRadar, Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure-DevOps, Sophos Firewall, Checkpoint Firewall, Virus Total, etc. He has good knowledge of rest APIs and has worked with different programming languages such as python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C, C++, PHP, and Bash Scripting languages. Amol has worked on writing integrations and plugins for security and CICD products. He has good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and has worked on python frameworks Flask And Django. He has also worked on AWS EC2 Services and MSSQL, PostgreSQL database. Currently, Amol works as a Senior Software Engineer at Qualys where he is responsible for collecting requirements/information from customers/project managers/managers. He identifies the technology stack traces, designs solutions, makes a POC, and builds the project. Prior to this, Amol worked as a Software Engineer at Qualys where he closely worked with the API Integration team. He was responsible for writing plugins/extensions for 3rd party products, including SIEM, CICD, and Ticketing tools. He has written python public packages for Qualys products which are used in CICD pipeline. Amol has also worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Cybersponse where he worked on Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform. He closely worked with the integration team and wrote code in Python to integrate third-party security products with CyOps. Amol has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from C.T. Bora College Shirur.
