Amol Salunke is a Senior Software Engineer at Globant with over 7 years of experience in the IT industry. He is a competent professional with a rich experience in Banking, Finance, and HRMS domains. Amol is proficient in analysis, design, development, and unit testing, and is currently spearheading as Senior Software Consultant with Infosys Ltd. Amol's technical expertise includes Spring boot, spring cloud, spring data, Kafka, Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Agile, and Microservices. He is a quick learner and always keen to learn new things and open to new challenges, experiences, and environments. Amol's interest includes but is not limited to Software development and Software Architecture. In his current role as a Software Development Intern at Coviam, Amol is working on an ERP system and is responsible for improving existing features in terms of client requirements. He is also working towards optimizing code and improving performance and code quality. In his previous role as a Software Engineer at Coviam, Amol spearheaded building microservices for the 360 Degree Employee Engagement Platform from scratch. He also designed and implemented new modules and features in the current platform, building a locale and branding server for backend and front-end localization support, a microservice for surveys and polls module from scratch. Amol also carried out teamwork in building a notification as a service platform for notification delivery based on w3c notification draft guidelines which are highly scalable and support multi-platform notification delivery. Amol's past experience also includes working as an Associate Consultant at Infosys, where he designed and developed receivable finance applications for clients from scratch using Spring boot, Spring cloud config, JPA. He also implemented application environments profiling using Spring cloud and managed integration of the application with Booking hub engine for real-time transactions. Amol holds a Post Graduation diploma in Advance Computing from C-DAC and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from SSBT COET, Jalgaon.
