He is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at userleap, where he is responsible for leading the engineering team and driving innovation in the product development process. Amos has a proven track record of success in the technology industry, having worked with several startups as an Angel Investor and Startup Advisor. He has also held leadership positions at Uber, where he served as the Director of Engineering and created and led the Marketplace organization. Under his leadership, the Marketplace organization scaled from 3 engineers to 150+ across a dozen teams, including the logistics platform, dispatch optimization algorithms, dynamic pricing, supply positioning, and marketplace health. Today, Marketplace @ Uber is a vibrant product platform and has become the incubation hub for new products like UberPool, UberEats, and UberRush. Amos holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University, where he developed a solid foundation in software engineering. He also attended William G. Enloe High School, where he honed his skills and passion for technology. As a Senior Software Engineer, Amos has a deep understanding of various tech stacks and is proficient in several programming languages.
