Amrendra Kumar is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with over 23 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is working with ThoughtSpot as a Staff Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and implementing software solutions that enable data-driven insights for businesses. Amrendra has a strong technical background and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He has previously worked with Cisco as a Technical Leader, where he was responsible for architecting, developing, and delivering a cloud-based network test automation solution. The solution aimed to cut network feature or platform deployment times by 65%, translating to getting devices in production from shipment from months to weeks. Amrendra designed a micro-service architecture using Flask, Django, Ruby On Rails, and open-source technologies that enabled cloud-based testing of networks even geographies apart from a common cloud (AWS) hosted product. In this role, he was responsible for automation in the areas of Pattern Generation, Pattern Verification, and other Test Quality aspects of DFT features in various products. His primary focus area was Memory BIST, and he was responsible for test development using Memory BIST and Repair on automated testers. He also led IP pattern generation automation on automated testers. Amrendra has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also completed his 12th from Delhi Public School, Ranchi, and his 10th from Saint Francis School, Ranchi. He has a strong technical background in software engineering, ML, AWS, Ruby, SDET, Microservices, Flask, Integration, infra, and Django.
