As the co-founder of factr.in, he is currently focused on developing cutting-edge assessment and intelligence platforms for educators. With over 5 years of experience in software development, testing automation, android development, and building technologies, Amrit has a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services. He has a strong background in data analytics, having built a data analytics server using the Python Django framework, and has also developed an Android platform for students. Amrit's expertise extends to backend service development using Java Spring Framework and integrating APIs in web app service layers. He is also well-versed in database architecture design, having played an integral role in the development of factr.in's database architecture. Prior to co-founding factr.in, Amrit worked as a software developer in test at truetel taiwan, where he gained extensive experience in behavior-driven development using Python's Behave test automation framework. He also created tools for stability testing for the Nauto device, which works together with programmable hardware like light sensors, power supplies, USB relays, and a network of drivers that simulate specific movements. As an Android developer at truetel taiwan, Amrit worked on an Android Car DashCam-cum-Driver Assistant that was built upon Android Open Source Project and powered by neural network models and cloud servers to make decisions and predictions. He was responsible for handling the GNSS module from the application layer and worked on different vehicle states like parked, sleep, running, etc. Amrit holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from IIT and has a diverse tech stack that includes test, Android, software engineering, Spring, backend, web, Python, CI/CD, SDET, Docker, Jenkins, integration, Django, and neural networks.
