Amrit Mangalvedhekar is a sophomore studying Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. Along with engineering and technology, he has a keen interest in Finance, Data Science, and Statistics. He is an active member of Wall Street Club BITS Goa and holds the position of a core member. Amrit has gained relevant experience in the field of quantitative trading models as a Research Consultant at WorldQuant. His primary goal is to build high PNL portfolios, high Sharpe ratio alphas, and low turnover models with the least possible transaction costs. He has been associated with WorldQuant for 0.86 years. Amrit's education background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. He has also completed his education from Pace Junior Science College. Amrit's tech stack includes Data Scientist and Research Scientist. With his interest in Finance, Data Science, and Statistics, he is constantly exploring new technologies and skills to enhance his knowledge and expertise in these fields.
