Amrit Singh is a Software Engineer and an open source contributor who has worked with various startups as an intern. He is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Newgen Softwares, a position he has held since June 2019. Amrit has mentored various people and was part of IEEE society in his college as a mentor for Java programming. He has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, which he completed in 2019. Amrit has a strong technical background, with experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL Server, JBOSS, JAX-WS, Android, XML, SQLite, JSON, and Kotlin. He has also worked on NLP parsing, UI/UX design, and animation using different Android APIs. Amrit has been recognized for his work and was awarded the Pat on the Back award. At Newgen Softwares, Amrit provided BPM Retail loan solutions to Emirates Development Bank, based in Abu Dhabi, which saved the bank a lot of manual work hours. He automated the pre-approval process for approving a retail loan for the bank, exposed a web service for the client to have more business through different channels, and streamlined multiple tasks done by the bank within one module. Amrit is open to job opportunities and has relevant experience of 4.19 years. He is a quick learner and has a passion for software engineering. Amrit is a team player who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.
