Amrita Singh is a seasoned programmer with over 13 years of experience in web and server-based technologies. She has a strong command over various programming languages such as Java, Angular, Node.js, Rxjs, and JavaScript along with JS-Frameworks, JSP, Spring, and more. Amrita has a proven track record of delivering clean and simple solutions to complex problems, both in BE and FE domains. Amrita is well-versed in performance optimization on BE and web using chrome web tools. She has hands-on programming experience with concurrent (multi-threaded) and distributed applications on the server-side. She also possesses expertise in SQL performance tuning, NoSQL - Hbase, and multitenant architecture. Amrita has a deep understanding of server-side performance monitoring tools such as GC, Visual VM, and SQL Profiler. She is also proficient in messaging systems like Apache MQ (AWS managed) and caching systems like Redis. Currently, Amrita works as a Principal Engineer 1 at Sophos, where she leads and helps the team to resolve blocking issues with technical guidance. She has previously worked as an SSE 2 at Sophos and a Developer and Lead at Bigphi. At Bigphi, she built an E-Commerce solution from scratch for online shopping of garments, which is currently live. She is also developing a web application to predict user's health condition ahead of time using a health prediction algorithm by monitoring user's health stats using an h/w device.
