Amro Mukhtar is a highly motivated and driven Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in developing electronic systems and computer software. He has a strong background in EFTPOS software development, financial services, and payment systems, and is skilled in developing applications on different models of POS devices. Amro is also experienced in back-end and front-end web development using NodeJS and React, and has a good understanding of mobile applications, specifically React Native. Currently, Amro is working as a Software Engineer Team Lead at dar-ict where he leads the software development team, develops EFTPOS software, and provides technical support. He is responsible for developing back-end APIs, front-end web pages, and mobile applications. Prior to his current role, Amro worked as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Medical Sciences & Technology (UMST) where he taught programming languages, basics of electronics, and how to design electrical and electronic circuits. He was also responsible for motivating and stimulating students to encourage learning through experience. Amro has also worked as an Embedded System Engineer at Arduino Soft where he identified customer issues, diagnosed problems, and delivered workable solutions. He was responsible for creating and designing hardware and software prototypes. Amro holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Control from the University of Medical Sciences & Technology (UMST), which he completed in 2018. He has a thorough knowledge of embedded systems and is skilled in using various software engineering tools and technologies.
