Amrudesh Santhanam is a Chief Engineer at Orxa Energies, where he focuses on the technical aspects of getting Mantis, the company's all-electric motorcycle and battery packs, ready for shipping. With over 22 years of experience, Amrudesh is an engineer with diverse interests across the technology spectrum. He enjoys working on interesting technologies and systems and has a keenness to learn. Amrudesh has worked with large cross-functional teams at DRDO, where he took systems from concept to production and field testing. He gained international exposure while working at Safran, where he mentored teams and managed projects and processes. Amrudesh is also a co-founder of Edoola, an e-learning platform, where he works on web and mobile application development, product strategy, and new client development. Amrudesh is a fitness enthusiast and a cycling enthusiast. He started Dhurii, a fitness studio, where he teaches Pilates and BungFly and handles admin activities, including building and maintaining the website. In addition, Amrudesh has a special journey with Dhurii on the physical engagement front, which keeps his body and mind in shape for all the engineering activity. Amrudesh's education history includes Nehru Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, where he completed his schooling from 1984 to 1992. His tech stack includes software engineering, web development, and mobile development. As a board member at Mechanical Chef, Amrudesh has joined as a non-executive director to the board. He has also worked as a chief engineer at Orxa Energies, where he was involved in end-to-end design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of electric motorcycles and battery packs. Amrudesh's experience in civil aircraft engine and landing gear component design using static/dynamic FEM analysis, software development for engineering applications, and internal training programs make him a versatile engineer.
