Amrutha Basker is a seasoned professional with over 6 years of experience in the Edtech and Social Media industries. She has worked with top companies such as Toppr, Tiktok, Apna, and currently Simplilearn. Amrutha’s key areas of competence include Product Lifecycle Management, Content Production & Strategy, and Program Management & Partnerships. She has hands-on experience in developing and implementing process flows for operations and developing product and content strategy. Amrutha is currently working as a Group Manager - Product Innovation at Simplilearn, where she leads the Roadmap, People, and P&L for Simplilearn Community with a lean rockstar team. In her past roles, she has worked as a Community - Partnerships & Strategy Manager at Apna, where she was part of the team building the first-ever blue and grey collar professional community in India. She scaled the community program from zero to 230+ partners and developed a comprehensive strategy to drive community growth & retention while improving the content ecosystem. Amrutha has also worked as a Manager - Partnerships & Content Programming at Tiktok, where she identified and closed strategic partnership deals based on product goals for #edutok of Tiktok. Amrutha holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Biosciences and Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Biotechnology from PSG College of Technology.
