Amulya Sahoo is a passionate programmer and computer enthusiast with a big curiosity in technology. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Amazon. Amulya has a unique talent of combining his coding skills with his artistic abilities to create art with codes and software with sketches. He loves working with Data Engineering and has a keen interest in open source projects. Amulya has 7.11 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Engineering, Backend Development, AI, and Data Engineering. He has previously worked at Param.ai as a Software Development Engineer - II. At Param.ai, he was responsible for backend development as well as management of cloud infrastructure. He developed a Suggestion Engine that provides recruiters with information about the hiring pattern of the company for a given job position. He is also working on building web-based solutions and a Data Warehousing solution for Param.ai. Before joining Param.ai, Amulya worked as a Software Engineer I at Dell. He developed a web-based code reviewer tool that would review Informatica code for non-functional requirements. This tool helped reduce code review time from an hour to 3 seconds per workflow. He also worked on the development of ETL data pipelines based on Informatica. Amulya holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar. He completed his intermediate education from Kendriya Vidyalaya and his high school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya as well. His tech stack includes SQL, Javascript, Web, Spark, MongoDB, infra, Python, Django, NodeJS, Spring, and ETL.
