Anamik Adhikary is a computer science graduate with almost a decade of experience in building digital products for both the consumer and enterprise markets. He is currently the Director of Engineering at SpaceBasic, a company committed to solving communication problems at universities by simplifying the process and making information easily attainable between university management, students, and parents. Anamik's mission is to digitize the daily lives of a million college-going students in India. Prior to his current role, Anamik was heading one of the AI-based products at Intellect, where he set up the India Data Science team for his unit and was part of the Artificial Intelligence R&D team working on building India-specific AI-based FinTech products. He also founded his own bootstrapped company, Flarow, which he scaled from scratch to 3000 homes across Chennai and Hyderabad before selling it to a real estate builder company. Anamik is a firm believer that technology can drive innovation and revolutionize India. His current areas of interest are systems design, building systems at scale, AI, and blockchain. He is also looking forward to how AI is going to disrupt every possible area in the world and hopes to be part of a team that disrupts an industry or domain. Anamik's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology from West Bengal University of Technology. He also attended Aisse Sainik School Purulia CBSE for his 12th and Sainik School Purulia for his high school. He has experience with a wide range of tech stacks, including AI, Spring Boot, AngularJS, AWS, Blockchain, MySQL, NLP, MongoDB, and more. In his free time, Anamik enjoys reading books, penning down his thoughts in his blog, taking pictures, playing guitar, and capturing his life journey through vlogging. He is a co-founder of InnerBuddha and has worked as a consultant team lead at Intellect Design Arena. Anamik's relevant experience in the industry is 10.12 years.
