Anand Addaguduri is a Data Scientist at Turing.com with a passion for Mathematics and Programming. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with a degree in Chemical Technology. Anand has completed various coursework and participated in projects, workshops, and competitions to enhance his skills in Machine Learning. He joined Fractal as a Campus recruit and gained valuable experience working on projects in the CPG domain, previously with Proctor & Gamble and presently with Reckitt. Anand's role involved translating Business and Operational objectives into procedural frameworks using his programming skills and helping clients generate business insight and value. He coordinated between teams for smooth deliverance of knowledge and was always a helping hand to each of his teammates, professional or personal. Anand is now looking to work more closely on end-to-end Machine Learning projects and corresponding technologies in a proactive learning environment to become an accomplished Data Science professional and be the "go-to" guy on all things Data. He has experience in Data Science, Research Science, Python, ML, SQL, Keras, Pandas, Scikit, AI, Jupyter, Data Engineering, Backend, Web, Hyperparameter, CNN, Deep Learning, Big Data, TensorFlow, Neural Networks, and Hadoop. Anand has also participated in an AI Hackathon in 2019, where his team was one of the 25 qualified teams out of 350 applicants. They proposed a Pipeline for Face Detection and Recognition, which involved pre-processing the data using De-occlusion algorithms such as applying PCA and reconstructing data by using selective eigenfaces to capture only necessary features, which enhance the performance of recognition even with Occlusions. They also suggested applying Transfer of Learning on advanced recognition models such as Resnet50, VGG19, and other recognition models on Keras for the recognition problem. Anand's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He has relevant experience of 2.70 years as a Data Scientist and Imagineer at Fractal and is currently working as a Data Scientist at Turing.com.
