Anand Dev is a full stack engineer with 5.28 years of relevant experience in React based web applications and RESTful microservices. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Rippling Insurance Product team, where he is contributing to the development of software solutions. Anand is a proactive and dynamic professional who is always keen to learn and implement new technologies. Anand has previously worked as a Software Engineer at ck-12 foundation, where he led the UX enhancements of the FlexBook® learning platform for Geometry books. He has developed high-performance responsive SVG based web animations and interactive elements and created a highly reusable SVG based animation component library. Anand has also developed a 2D vector library that abstracts out higher-order math operations leading to smooth web animations running consistently above 60 frames a second. Additionally, he has contributed to the designing of the storage architecture and versioning system providing high availability and fault tolerance. Before joining Rippling, Anand has also worked as a Software Engineer at HSBC. There, he completed the task of analyzing and re-factoring an existing legacy project using modern-day frameworks like Java and React+Redux to increase performance. He has worked on the development of REST microservices in Java-Spring framework using both databases and IBM webSphere MQ as the datasource. Anand has used React + Redux to make modern style responsive and dynamic pages and developed mock screens for the projects on iRise prototyping platform. Anand holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he completed in 2018.
