Anand Jagadeesh is a dynamic and forward-thinking Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, which he will complete in 2022. Anand's enthusiasm for AI has led him to serve as the Postgraduate Sustainability Representative for the School of Computer Science at the university for the academic year 2021-2022. Anand has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, having previously worked as a Software Engineer in the PowerMax Replication and Cloud team at Dell EMC (Dell Technologies). During his time at Dell EMC, he was part of the PowerMax Remote Replication team (SRDF or RDF), where he helped improve the product and engaged employees as part of the PowerMax University Relations team and PowerMax Innovation Network. Anand has also been involved in multiple start-up ventures, having initiated three start-ups himself. Anand is a member of various professional bodies, including IET, IEEE, IEEE CS, ACM, and Internet Society, where he has served in multiple volunteering leadership positions. In addition to his coding and volunteering work, Anand enjoys photography and has a keen interest in the explainability and ethics of AI, adapting AI for cyber security, and advances in blockchain and cloud and distributed computing technologies. He aspires to build an intelligent HCI system that adapts an operating system to the user. Anand's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and a Higher Secondary / PU degree from the Central Board of Secondary Education. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of St Andrews.
