Anand Karn is a highly skilled and experienced product designer with over 10 years of experience in graphic design and UX design. He is a self-taught designer who has a natural talent for creating visually appealing designs that are user-friendly. Anand has worked with renowned brands such as The Lalit Hotels, T-Mobile Systems, The Laundry house, and many healthcare, technology, and hospitality brands. Anand's expertise lies in designing marketing collateral, brand identity, website, animated intro pages, 2D animations, web and mobile applications, and office interiors. He has won a state-level sketching competition against competitors from NID and NIFT, which is a testament to his exceptional design skills. Anand is passionate about solving people's problems through UX design. He enjoys understanding user behavior, analyzing pain points, cherishing pleasure points, and providing simplified solutions that keep users engaged. His strength areas are research, interaction, visuals, and motion. He follows an organic process of interaction designing to empathize, analyze, design, prototype, and test the product utility. Each step involves research, persona creation, customer journey mapping, storyboarding, wireframe, and prototypes. Anand is proficient in using various design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Principle, Balsamic, Invision, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Analytics. With a good understanding of programs/language used for developing web or mobile applications, he is comfortable interacting with developers/technology stakeholders. Currently, Anand is working as a Principal Product Designer at gameskraft, where he is responsible for leading and overseeing the design process from concept to launch. He defines the design strategy, manages the design team, collaborates with cross-functional teams, conducts user research and testing, and ensures the final design meets business and user requirements. Anand has also worked as a Product Design Manager at Roadzen and a Design Lead at Policybazaar. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University. When he is not designing systems for better user experience, Anand loves designing the future of unprivileged children by helping them with their studies.
