Anand Prabhakar is a full-stack Software Engineer and Product Enthusiast who is currently working at Postman, one of India's largest SaaS startups. He has participated in all steps of the product development lifecycle and has shipped out three different genres of new products for the Postman API Development Platform. Anand's primary focus is on software engineering and product management. At Postman, Anand has owned the API GIT integration with Azure DevOps, a two-way sync tool between Postman and GIT Repository. He has analyzed enterprise client feedback to understand product requirements, composed specification documentation, and amalgamated the product end-to-end in the codebase (Postman Web & App). Anand has implemented the client-side code for CI/CD integration, Postman v9.0 and beyond. He has unified the user interface for four different third-party CI tools and incrementally rolled it out to different enterprise teams using feature flagging across 14 version updates. Anand has also supported the ingestion of Newman Run Metrics in Postman, which is more than 70% of all collection runs to support Newman Reporter. Prior to his current role, Anand worked as a SWE Intern at Postman, where he worked closely with the integrations platform and the integrations landscape team. He fixed several bugs related to UI and UX and was responsible for hosting and maintaining more than 30 third-party integrations in Postman like GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Slack, etc. Anand has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he conducted lab sessions for 2nd and 3rd-year undergraduates on Cadence Virtuoso. Anand holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Minor in Politics Economics and Philosophy from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has also completed his Intermediate and Matriculate from Radiant International School, Patna, and his Secondary Schooling and Primary Schooling from St. Don Bosco College, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Nazareth Academy, Gaya, respectively.
