Anand Sojan is a Co-Founder of HapCyan and a Mentee Innovator at the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC). He is currently involved in the Young Innovators Program (YIP) organized by K-DISC, which aims to support project development of student researchers through guidance, funding, and mentorship support. The YIP 2018-21 is the first program under this initiative. Anand has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, where he studied from 2015 to 2019. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2006 to 2015. With 4.03 years of relevant experience, Anand is skilled in designing and computational stress analysis. Prior to his current role, Anand was a Co-Founder and Design Engineer at HapCyan, where he was engaged in the design and computational stress analysis of an Adaptive Wheelchair electric drive unit. The unit can have universal adaptability to wheelchairs and is made available at affordable rates. Anand is a proactive individual with a passion for innovation and technology. He is committed to supporting the development of young researchers and is always seeking new ways to make a positive impact. His expertise in design and computational stress analysis makes him a valuable asset to any team.
