Anand Tirthgirikar is an experienced professional in the field of building cloud-based solutions with expertise in data engineering, distributed systems, ETL, MLOps, cloud data warehousing, and microservices. He is currently working as an SDE IV at InMobi and has previously worked at Zeotap and Nvidia. Anand has a strong background in designing and building real-time streaming and batch ETL pipelines, MLops for production-level data science ML models, databases (SQL and NoSQL), data warehousing, and OLAP cubes for insights use cases. He is well-versed in cloud integrations for AWS and GCP and has experience working with frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Dataflow, HDFS, Kafka, and Pubsub. He is proficient in programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python. At Zeotap, Anand worked as a Lead Engineer where he designed and built cloud-based solutions with serverless data processing for a range of Ad-tech data products such as predictive audiences, real-time NBX platform with ML models, and OLAP cube-powered insights using a time-series database. He also designed and built a data platform to deploy ML models in production with self-serve capabilities for DS teams, both real-time streaming and batch pipelines handling billions of events. Anand mentored and led a team of data engineers and collaborated with Product, Data scientists, and BI teams to build a platform for enabling data-driven decisions. He optimized data systems continuously by working closely with Product and Data science teams to improve SLAs and reduce costs. Anand has a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, Pune.
