Anand Tirthgirikar is an experienced professional with over 9 years of experience in building cloud-based solutions. He has a strong background in data engineering, distributed systems, ETL, MLOps, cloud data warehouse, and microservices. Anand is a quick learner and passionate about solving challenging and interesting problems. Currently, Anand is working as an SDE IV at InMobi. In his current role, he is responsible for designing and building real-time streaming/batch ETL pipelines, MLops production-level data science ML models, and databases (SQL & NoSQL). He also has experience in data warehousing, OLAP cubes for insights use cases, and cloud integrations (AWS/GCP). Anand is proficient in various frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Dataflow, HDFS, Kafka, and Pubsub. He is skilled in programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python. Prior to InMobi, Anand worked at Zeotap as a Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer - Data Engineering. During his tenure, he designed and built cloud-based solutions with serverless data processing for a range of Ad-tech data products. He also designed and built a data platform to deploy ML models in production with self-serve capabilities for DS teams. Anand has experience in mentoring and leading teams of data engineers, collaborating with Product, Data scientists, and BI teams to build a platform for enabling data-driven decisions. He optimized data systems continuously by working closely with Product & Data science teams to improve SLAs and reduce costs. Anand holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, Pune.
