Anand Upadhyay is a technology enthusiast with more than 12 years of experience in software engineering. He has a deep interest in data structures and algorithms and a keen inclination towards product development and open source technology. Anand is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at TCS, where he is responsible for the design and development of TCS ION. Anand has strong back-end Java development skills along with SQL and NoSQL databases and has fair exposure to client-side web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, EmberJS, and ReactJS. Recently, he has tried his hands on building a DevOps platform and got exposed to Docker, Kubernetes, and Consul. In the past, Anand has worked as a Software Engineer at UnitedHealth, where he was involved in incident management, problem ticket implementation, and upgraded a build system completely from scratch. He has also worked as a Development Engineer at Pramati Technologies, where he was involved in design, development, and bug fixes. Anand transformed the development and delivery by implementing Docker and was involved in writing the core engine for one of the products (Quick Screen). He also started the concept of Tech Tonic inside a team. Anand holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences. He has a diverse tech stack, including Azure, CI/CD, Docker, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, JavaScript, NoSQL, GCP, Backend, Web, ReactJS, Java, and ML.
