Anant Jain is a highly motivated PhD student at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. Anant's previous work experience includes working as a Senior Product Engineer at PhotoGAUGE, where he provided engineering measurements using photos from commodity cameras and smartphones. He has also worked as a Manager (R&D) at Micromatic Grinding Technologies Ltd, where he led a team of five in diverse projects varying from mechanical sub-systems such as Hydrostatic bearings to software solutions for path planning. Anant's educational qualifications include a Dual Degree (B.Tech.+M.Tech.) in Engineering Design, specialization in automotive engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas. Anant's technical skills include Software Engineering, and he has a keen interest in exploring new technologies and finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
