Anant Kumar is a seasoned IT professional with over 18 years of experience in various roles and industry domains. He has a graduate degree in B.E electronics and a post-graduate diploma in business management (marketing) from MDI Gurgaon. Anant has worked as a developer, tech lead, technical pre-sales consultant, solution architect, project and program manager, and enterprise architect in telecom, retail, transportation, and banking domains. Currently, Anant is the Senior VP Engineering - Digital Acquisition and Growth Platforms, Product lead for HDO and Airtel Work platform at Airtel. He is responsible for leading a team of 200 developers for in-house development and has dual responsibility as Product Head for HDO and Airtel Work platform and Engineering Head for Digital acquisition channels. Anant brings in holistic and end-to-end knowledge and is the go-to man for any complex, large-scale, multi-vendor system integration project. He has strong leadership skills and is adept at handling CXO level relationships both within partner community as well as customer environment. Anant has worked extensively in cross-functional teams spanning multiple countries and is well-versed in handling multi-ethnic environments. He has traveled extensively globally and has experience in handling CXO level relationships both within partner community as well as customer environment. In his previous roles at Airtel, Anant was the Senior VP Engineering - Growth Platforms and Acquisition Channels, where he led engineering teams, built platforms, and delivered key digital capabilities across lines of business. He partnered with cross-functional teams in shaping the digital roadmap of Airtel, defined engineering roadmap, and built in-house competency. Anant was also the Vice President of Engineering, where he headed the global product engineering team, sales and distribution, and network digitization products. He led the delivery of several key digitization products in Airtel like fiber force, Konnect, sales and distribution digitization products, Aadhar-based e-KYC platform, internal HR applications, Airtel retail stores digitization, and B2B products. Anant's tech stack includes senior software engineer and integration, and his rich experience in multi-facets of the IT industry gives him a definitive edge in all his assignments.
