Anant Verma is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. With over 22 years of experience, Anant has successfully managed and built numerous products that have delighted customers, while also building happy and motivated teams. He values principles such as simplicity, agility, building it right the first time, and built-in quality, and believes in drawing on individuals’ strengths to build high-performing, results-driven teams. Anant is passionate about technology and enjoys learning new skills and technologies. He has expertise in people and technology management, software delivery, distributed systems, full-stack cloud-based multi-tenant software, Salesforce.com CRM and force.com platform including API, Apex, and VisualForce. He is also highly skilled in programming with Java, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, Microsoft Office, and Exchange plugins and applications. Currently, Anant is the VP of Engineering at netomi, where he applies his extensive experience and expertise to lead the engineering team. Prior to this, he was an Official Member at Forbes and a Volunteer Instructor and Coach at Achievers School, where he kindled a passion for technology in young kids by running technology-focused summer camps and evening and weekend workshops. Anant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical from Punjab Engineering College, where he graduated in 1997. He also completed his high school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya Chandigarh in 1987.
