Ananya Nayak is a Consultant in Cloud Engineering at Deloitte, with a focus on implementing Data Engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure Data Platforms. He has a strong background in Azure Cloud and Big Data, and is an expert in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2), SQL, Azure Databricks (Pyspark, SparkSQL and Delta Tables), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Cost Management, and Power BI. Ananya has achieved several notable accomplishments throughout his career, including clearing the Microsoft Certified DP 900 certification exam and the SQL Basic and Intermediate level Hackerrank tests. He has also posted around 30 Leetcode SQL problems and solutions on LinkedIn. Prior to joining Deloitte, Ananya worked as a Data Engineer at Datametica, where he primarily worked on ingesting batch data via Azure Data Factory, utilized Azure SQL Database for fetching data to run Ad Hoc queries in SQL in Microsoft SQL Server, and used Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 2 as the primary storage service to assemble data from source systems. He also documented the end-to-end ETL for the project and was involved in ad-hoc issues reported by the client. Ananya's education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, which he completed in 2017.
