Ananya Rao is a passionate and detail-oriented Computer Engineering student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is an innovator and abstract thinker who is always looking for ways to use her skills and knowledge to develop products and solutions that can make society a little better. Ananya is highly interested in science and technology and loves to learn and collaborate with others to gain different perspectives. Currently, Ananya works as a Student Staff member at the College of Engineering Career Center, where she helps students acquire internship, full-time, and research positions by offering feedback on resumes and cover letters. She also authors a weekly newsletter for ECE students, outlining recruiting events, career fairs, corporate information sessions, and other career development events. Ananya has previously worked as a MHealth Core Summer Intern at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she gained valuable experience in the field of healthcare technology. She has also served as a member of the Engineering Curriculum Review Panel, where she reviewed lesson plans submitted by the College of Engineering faculty members to promote a diverse and inclusive engineering curriculum. Ananya's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which she is expected to complete in 2023. She also holds a High School Diploma from the Heritage Xperiential Learning School (formerly known as The Heritage School, Gurgaon), where she studied STEM + CS. Ananya's tech stack includes research scientist skills, and she has relevant experience of 0.36 years.
