Ananya Sahoo is a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on Python, Azure, AWS, OpenCV, Computer Vision, and Research Science. With 7.28 years of relevant experience, Ananya has worked with several notable companies, including Flipkart, ACKO, and Skylark Drones. Currently, Ananya is a Software Development Intern at Skylark Drones, where she works on GPS Post Processing and a Python wrapper for RTKLIB CLI applications that provides useful classes for raw file conversion and processing of GPS data. Ananya's experience includes a Research Internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, where she worked on Computer Vision and OpenCV. Her project titled "Motion Segmentation in Video" was tested against the UCF CrowdsDataset, where she combined the Optical Flow method with DBSCAN Clustering Algorithm to obtain the result of Segmentation of the frame based on the direction of motion. The result was then compared with the result of Two-pass Connected Component Analysis. Ananya has also worked as a Senior Member at Codehub, where she learned Android App Development under the guidance of seniors of the club, which helped her to further do a project. Ananya's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where she graduated in 2020. She also attended DAV Public School in Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, and DAV Public School in Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Ananya's tech stack includes Backend, NoSQL, SQL, Spring Boot, Search, GCP, UI, Web, Django, and MySQL.
