Anas Tawfik is a highly experienced Full Stack Developer at Booking.com. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Anas has extensive knowledge in developing web apps. Starting as a User Interface Developer designing html prototypes, visual interfaces and interaction of web-based applications, he has implemented user interface design and worked with the product development team to design online user experience. Anas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Applied Arts Academy, Egypt. Currently, Anas is working in ITWORX HUB, a startup owned by ITWORX, a Digital Workspace SAAS Product based on Office365, using the new frontend technologies like React/Redux. He has experience in User Interface development languages like HTML5, CSS3, along with the preprocessors like SASS and LESS. He has also set up automation tasks using Gulp and Grunt and created the required configurations for Webpack3 using its bundling technologies like Code Splitting and Tree Shaking. Anas has a great experience of more than two years with React and Redux, and is able to create complete React/Redux apps alone. Anas has given many workshops and sessions regarding Front-End technologies like React & Redux, Webpack, Babel & ES6, SASS and more. He was responsible for a Web Development summer training to the IEEE students. While the journey to the Front-end Engineering field, Anas passed through other technologies and languages like PHP, MySQL, Cordova aka PhoneGap, CMSs like WordPress. Anas is currently diving more into ReactNative and the differences between it and React for web. He is also learning ReactVR and building AR Apps using different SDKs and programs like Unity3D since he is interested in these new technologies. Anas has previously worked as a Frontend Developer at Booking.com and as a Senior Fullstack Engineer at satoshipay.
