Anchit Srivastava is a skilled software and data engineer with a passion for solving practical problems using computer programming. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from JSS Academy of Technical Education and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University, where he also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Anchit has gained 3.86 years of relevant experience working for top companies such as BCG and HCL. During his internship at BCG, he created a pipeline to track user activities on a website to assist the client in expanding business by sending personal recommendations to users. He also built several pipelines using Pyspark on Azure Synapse to ingest data from Rest APIs and transform it to RDBMS form to help clients increase revenue by analyzing historical and operation data. At HCL, he worked as a Business Analyst. Anchit has excelled in the latest development technologies such as Jira, Git, Docker, Data Storage, REST APIs, and IoT. He has also conformed to the modern fashion of the software development lifecycle, including microservice-based architectures, CI/CD, and Agile methodology. He has contributed to designing a Kafka-based data ingestion application for an IoT application and headed the task of storing data in databases. He has retained crucial lessons from issues such as why follow the agile methodology, why use micro-service-based architecture, why process data in real-time, and how a lousy database design can bring nightmares to team leaders. Anchit is currently enrolled in an ML, AI, and data science-centric course at New York University to educate himself with in-depth theory and ample practical exposure. He is intrigued by the thought process that goes behind technology. Anchit has been hailed as a smart and hard worker, and he continues the same attitude in his career and personal life.
