Anderson Reinkordt is a self-taught, self-driven and self-fulfilling Senior Software Engineer at Huntress labs with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is passionate about utilizing software to solve logical problems, build useful utilities, and find practical solutions for simple and complex challenges, from dev tooling to full-scale applications. Anderson is proficient in Ruby programming, from scripting to building backend libraries to full-scale Rails applications. He finds dev tooling to be his favorite thing to do, and what usually starts as a ruby/bash script that he uses, ends up as a ruby gem meant to be used more generally by other developers. He has thoroughly read payment processing message specs for Vantiv Tandem, First Data Omaha, Global South, and Tsys Sierra, and finds pleasure (and plenty of pain) in reading technical documents in order to discover usage entry points and implementation solutions. Anderson loves to dig for hours on specific problems and is constantly learning. He is currently focusing on bringing literate programming concepts to the world, outside of emacs. He also customizes operating systems to use a mouse/cursor as little as possible, making him a home row hermit. In his free time, Anderson enjoys contributing to open source projects, learning new technologies, modifying his sports car, and spending time with his family. Anderson has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe and Taxjar (a Stripe company) in the past. He holds a degree in Web Development from Viking Education and a degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Montessori Training Center of Minnesota.
