Andrei Bratu is a freelance software engineer with a code-anything attitude. He has previous experience working with FAANG and startups, and has a strong focus on full-stack and cloud development, with knowledge on machine learning and business analytics. Currently, he works as a Consultant Tech Lead at aspendos agency, where he is using machine learning to automate the A/B process of identifying the most promising advertisement campaigns. He also advises the agency's executives on their new data-driven strategy and the applications of machine learning for content creation. Andrei has worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Google's Fitbit Infrastructure Team, where he owned and created a continuous delivery pipeline for mapping smartwatches' hardware functionalities to configuration profiles required by the department's integration testing framework. He also proposed a universal standard on CLI commands, their descriptors, and arguments, spanning all Fitbit hardware architectures, which laid the foundation for future automation projects and positively impacted all Fitbit firmware engineering teams. He has also worked as a Fullstack Software Engineer at Everseen, where he was the third member of an offshoot's technical team. He assisted the team in moving from mock-ups to seed funding and designed the mobile client's architecture, majority of the database structure, general buy-sell flow using Stripe, and an in-app notification system. Andrei holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technical University Munich.
