Andrei Bunghez is a Software Development Manager with a strong technical background and over 17 years of experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at 3nets.io, where he is part of a team developing a multi-cloud, application-aware network infrastructure fabric. His responsibilities include developing a micro-service platform on top of ONAP, powered by Kubernetes and leveraging Terraform to deploy cloud-based and on-premise virtualized infrastructure. Prior to his current role, Andrei worked as a Software Development Manager at Lenovo, where he managed the on-premise development team for Lenovo's on-prem cloud platform. He was responsible for delivering and maintaining software in the compute and virtual/physical networking areas of the platform and maintaining the OS currency of the platform. Andrei also worked as a Software Engineer at Lenovo, where he built the Lenovo Intelligent Network Controller, an SDN controller based on OpenContrail/TungstenFabric. Andrei holds a BS in Computer Science from the Universitatea „Politehnica” din București, which he obtained in 2005. He has a passion for technology and is always eager to learn new things and improve. He has experience working with various technologies from embedded devices to network infrastructures. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, infra, Terraform, Kubernetes, Microservices, Ansible, Docker, and C. Andrei is an excellent team player with a good ability to solve complex problems in a high-pressure environment. He has excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to take initiative and deliver results on time. He is also able to communicate well with all levels of users and provide support to them by being proactive and always striving for continuous improvement on the level of customer satisfaction at all times.
