Andrew Andrade is a highly experienced Management Scientist and Data Science Instructor currently working as a Deployment Strategist and Deployed Computational Engineer at Palantir Technologies. With over a decade of relevant experience, Andrew is a skilled professional in the field of data science and big data analytics. Prior to his current role, Andrew was the Technical Co-founder and Lead Researcher at Petropredict, where he led the technology development and research conducted at the company. He successfully pivoted the company from an oil well integrity solution to deploying a pipeline risk modelling solution to a Canadian oil company. Andrew has also worked as a Data Science Lab Instructor at the University of Waterloo, where he ran the university's first graduate data science and big data analytics class. He opened sourced the notes for the course and made the tutorials available on YouTube. Andrew has a strong educational background, with a degree in Honours Mechatronics Engineering, Option in Management Science from the University of Waterloo. He also spent a semester as an exchange student at the National University of Singapore and completed the Startup School program at Y Combinator.
