Andrew has over 14 years of experience working with big data, statistics, and machine learning/AI. Andrew is passionate about NLP, neurotechnology, artificial general intelligence, and high-impact data science applications such as combating disinformation and fraud. At Seekr Technologies, he is helping to build an anti-fake news search engine that upweights transparent and reliable sources of information using advanced quality metrics including NLP while safeguarding privacy. Andrew has previously worked as a Lead Data Scientist at FICO, where he developed machine learning models for anti-money laundering, supervised classifiers, and unsupervised clustering algorithms using NLP. He also worked with clients to ensure proper data mapping and delivery through assessments of data quality. Andrew has also worked as a Data Scientist at Feedzai, where he applied machine learning to credit/debit card and wholesale banking fraud detection and mined data for business insights using Python, Hive, Impala, Spark, and Pulse (Feedzai's proprietary ML platform).
