Andrew Christie is an Atlanta-based Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft where he builds full-stack web applications using modern web technologies for various sectors across the global organization for both external and internal use. Andrew primarily builds web applications using Angular and leverages Microsoft's Power Platform as a backend to enable complex functionality to meet business needs across the company. Prior to joining Microsoft, Andrew worked as a Software Engineer at Coca-Cola, where he led the development of a variety of web applications to extend the capabilities and productivity of different internal teams globally across the organization. He utilized the Power Platform to build a solution to allow external bottlers from around the world to have a single platform to collect, aggregate, and analyze their data for the first time in the company. Andrew also utilized React to build frontend interfaces into data projects for different groups across the organization. He led projects, either as a solo developer or leading a small team, through the completion of multiple applications now running in production. This included interfacing with non-technical stakeholders, conceptualizing and designing solutions, and breaking down complex requirements into tasks to be completed or delegated. Andrew also worked as a DevOps Engineer at Vandis, where he utilized Infrastructure as Code methodologies to configure cloud infrastructure in GCP & AWS, created CI/CD Pipelines to streamline application development and production workflows, and maintained an ElasticSearch monitoring platform. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Informatics from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and a degree in Information Systems from Academies @ Englewood.
