Andrew Fryer is a highly experienced and enthusiastic Lead Developer at Cognassist with over 20 years of industry experience. He is a dynamic back-end software developer with recent front-end experience in React and JavaScript. Andrew is currently employed by Cognassist as a lead developer, where he is involved in migrating an existing legacy system into the cloud. He has exposure to Microsoft Azure/Dev ops creating micro-services in dotnet core, which are helping to massively improve the flexibility of the application while providing a consistent user experience to existing customers. Andrew has implemented a new federated identity provider (Auth0) into their main application, completely replacing their existing Microsoft Identity one. He has also led a small team to implement single-sign-on into the application, resulting in security improvements that meant they were far more easily able to control access to the application and remove this access centrally if a user left.
